Mostafa El-SayedI know lots might be angry at me , but in my humble opinion , F.E.A.R is the least album that I felt Rothery's presence in , every album, Rothery has those Shivering melodies , however, for some reason, couldnt really feel them on F.E.A.R, ofcourse , its a personal opinion, however , on the bright side, Pete Tavares IMO did one of his best work yet in F.E.A.R, also, Mosley was generous enough to showcase the monster of a drummer he is on F.E.A.R
Finally, I think the real.highlight of this album is the 'lyrics' , seems this album is H's little baby, all in all , thank you Marillion for doing ur thing , which is delivering oustanding music throughout the years, I have been introducing many of my friends to Marillion, and they always thanke foe this:)8 hours ago · 8
Cyrille CorougePlease Steve, throw away that unbearable sound of tremolo/chorus ! It has been used too much in several album and it doesn't sound really good.
By the way, I'm a hudge fan from the beginning...7 hours ago · 4
Steve GillI have to agree with the previous comment. I am growing to appreciate the album more with each play but to me it seems that Steve has stepped right back and this is Mark's album. Steve's playing can bodily lift you up, pin you to a wall, occupy you completely and leave you an emotional wreck. You'll find nothing of this calibre here I fear.

Frank VossSteve Rothery's input may sometimes appear covered by layers of keyboard but like gems the finer tones shine through. Like Gilmour made our eyes wet with his emphasized one-note-solos Steve can carry me away with his singing guitar. To me he is recognizable, unique, innovative, full of feeling and breathtaking melodies. No other can make Marillion complete. Full stop.2 hours ago
Lakatos ZoltánActually on the photo Steve appears to hold the Squire Strat, and not the Blade, as the underlying text suggests (if you open the link).7 hours ago

AJ GarciaSteve Rothery, by far the most underrated guitarist. May be he doesn't look like a rock star but he certainly plays in the top 10 in my book8 hours ago · 1

Bob CousinsAll fans of the band know the amazing technical prowess of this emotional genius of the 6 string. While this is not new the brilliant strokes of his palette are revealed upon each new release and tour. It cannot be stressed enough that seeing him play is witnessing a revelatory epiphany. Do not miss an opportunity to see them live.8 hours ago
